Theses boots run true to size. The leather is buttery soft and the back of the boot has a playful insert- I got the brown boots so mine is purple. I do wish the shoe was padded but I just put some Duane Reade gel inserts in and they feel fine. I paid about 80 something for my boots and I think they are worth it. I would not have payed over $150 for them and definately not $300.
