I have arthritis in my feet and could not find shoes that afforded me any measure of pain relief; not even the high-dollar athletic shoes helped. I noticed these boots at a local livestock equipment store and tried them on. For me it was love-at-first-step. Not only are these the most comfortable Western boots I've ever owned, they are over-all the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. With these, I can walk all day with very little discomfort. I now have two pairs of these boots and wear them exclusively. The black ones easily go from being ranching kicks to cleaning up for more formal wear. Yes, they look great with skirts too. I highly recommend these boots for anyone who has chronic foot pain.
